Muntelier

Muntelier is one of Bowling Switzerland Inc’s flagship projects, as much on a human as on a financial level. It took 7 years to complete construction of this 2'500 m² centre on a total land area of 8'785 m² with the official opening on October 15th 2002. It is ideally situated, being at the junction of the Bern, Fribourg and Neuchatel motorways at the Morat exit close to the « Expodrom » go-karting centre.
Construction and fitting was carried out in tandem with an architectural practice from la Chaux-de-Fonds and whilst the day to day running of the centre has been outsourced to a Swiss company, Bowling Switzerland Inc has retained responsibility for administrative and financial management.
When opened it was the largest bowling centre in Switzerland (by total number of lanes) and although overtaken by La Praille one month later Muntelier still boasts 24 bowling lanes, 2 bar / snack-bars, a pizzeria, 8 billiard tables and video games.
