Standard Investment Plan

For the construction of a bowling centre with an average of 20 lanes on 4500m2, with a 100 space car park (2000m2) and 2500m2 of building construction.
Facilities: bar, snack bar, video games, billiard tables, table-tennis, 20 bowling lanes, restaurant (optional).

In the case of a rented bowling centre, investment costs are reduced to the costs of fitting out the hall, purchase of furniture and bowling equipment.

The bowling equipment is sold by Bowling Switzerland Inc with the option of a management agreement for a pre-determined duration and with a guaranteed profitability of 10% of projected annual turnover.

The contractual guarantees covering equipment are the following:

  • 5 years on machines
  • 5 years on bowling lanes
  • 1 year on IT systems / equipment

If the manufacturer’s recommendations concerning maintenance are adhered to, the average working life of the equipment is as follows:

  • 25 to 30 years for machines
  • 15 to 20 years for bowling lanes
  • 3 to 7 years for IT systems / equipment

Return on investment is as follows: (taking into account the business plan, the geographical location and the size of the leisure centre) as a general rule,

  • New centre : 7 years
  • Rented centre: 3 years
